This is basically a list of random Tips I have about vacation planning. They are all common sense things, but I like lists so here it is lol.

TIP #1 Be flexible.  Things don't always go as planned and you have to be ready for whatever comes your way.

TIP #2 Research the area you are traveling to. Understand the environment, weather, culture, roads, costs.  

TIP #3 Use my Resource page for lots of different websites that help with planning.

TIP #4 Drink lots of water. I don't know, but every time something is wrong, don't people say, "Did you drink enough water?"  

TIP #5 Try to eat at local restaurants instead of fast food. You can eat fast food at home.

TIP #6 Vacation is expensive, but it is a memory you will have forever. Consider a vacation instead of Christmas gifts one year.  (Good luck with that if you have elementary age kids!)

TIP #7 Take pictures. Your memory isn't going to last forever. 

TIP #8 Look for coupons.  Lots of places have coupons online. Just Google it. 

TIP #9 If you are on a road trip and have your location mapped.  Consider taking a screenshot of the route in just in case.  I use Google Maps a lot and even if you lose cell service, the GPS stays on but if you accidentally close the app you could lose the route.  I have had this happen before and the screenshots kept us on track until we got signal again.

TIP #10 Always have some cash with you.  You never know when you are gonna need it.
